About the Fees

As UA Parks & Rec developed pricing levels for fees, they were guided by a series of operational goals:

  • Keep the fee structure simple and easy to understand
  • Establish pricing that is favorable to UA residents and those employed in the community
  • Incentivize memberships
  • Provide a framework that allows the department to ease into operations and be positioned for adjustments based on usage

Fees are listed as:

  • R-M – for any customer that is a Resident (lives and/or works in UA) and/or a Member of the facility
  • NR – Non-Resident, which applies to any customer that does not live or work in UA and is not a current Member of the facility

If You Work in UA

If you are employed in UA, you AND all members of your household will be eligible for the Resident rates.

PLAY UA Financial Assistance

UA residents and individuals employed in UA who require financial assistance to be able to participate in UA Parks & Rec programs are eligible for the PLAY UA Financial Assistance Program. Qualifying individuals AND their household members will be eligible to receive a 50% reduction in membership and program fees at the Bob Crane Community Center.

Not eligible for the PLAY UA price reduction:

  • Daily Admissions

UA Senior Association/Senior Center Membership

UA Senior Association memberships will be discontinued at the end of 2024, in preparation for the opening of the Bob Crane Community Center. The Senior Advisory Group (SAG) will continue to serve in an advisory capacity on programs and services for older adults.
